Gotech PRO X2 Engine Control Unit
The Gotech PRO X2 engine control unit is our top of the range ECU. This quad processor
unit features a faster processor than the normal PRO X ecu and about double the
crystal speed. This control unit took the market with a storm due to the good pricing
and extreme capabilities.
Gotech PRO X2 Information and Features
Applications:
One, Two, Three, Four, Six and Eight Cylinders with distributor and
single coil or coil packs
Trigger per event, 60-2, 12-1, 24-1 and TDC pickups
Custom trigger configurable
Various setup combinations available:
- 4, 6 and eight Cylinder, One coil and two
injector outputs with trigger per event input
- 4 Cylinder, Two coil and Two injector
outputs with crank trigger (60-2, 36-1, 12-1)
- 6 Cylinder, Three coil and three injector outputs with crank trigger (60-2)
- 4
Cylinder, Full sequential Four coil and four injector output (60 -2 plus hall effect
TDC)
- 6 Cylinder, Full sequential fuelling and phased ignition (60 -2 plus hall effect
TDC)
- 6 Cylinder, Full sequential Six coil and Six injector output (60 -2 plus hall effect TDC)
- 8 Cylinder, Single coil and distributor
- 8 Cylinder, Single coil, full sequential
injection (60-2 plus hall effect TDC)

8 Gpo outputs can be used for idle control or VVT or boost control.

Ignition Control Features
Main software display
- Full Control over ignition timing at preset RPM intervals and 32 load sites
- Interpolation
Between load sites for smooth timing transition

by engine speed and manifold pressure (TPS also available)
- Soft touch RPM limiter
is provided to prevent dangerously high RPM to be exceeded

Fuel Injection Features
- Batch Firing of injectors in mode 0. Phased firing in
all other modes except for full sequential modes.
- Full control over electronic injectors
over 32 load sites and preset RPM levels
- Interpolation Between load sites for smooth

- Able to drive 16x 2ohm injectors or 32x 16 ohm injectors
- Fuel injector
time mapped at 500rpm from startup to 12 000rpm on a 4 cylinder engine

time is fully programmable using the windows based Gotech PRO X2 Tuner software

- Real
time fuel adjustment using the fuel pot. Fuel adjustable by 10% richer and leaner
over the - whole range while driving. Real time timing adjustment with the ignition
pot allows 10 degrees ignition retard
- Eight GPO outputs for VVT, shift light, idle
control, boost control etc
- Dedicated shift light and fuel pump output

Software Features

to the hard drive.
- Maps can be rapidly changed using the curve function or the all
ranges up.
- Input screens include: Fuel, Ignition, F5 Configuration, Air temp correction,
Water temp correction, Battery voltage correction, Accel pump map, Launch control
maps and the micro staged fuel map.
